Focus and Scope

The aim of the Bulletin of the Marine Geologi (BoMG) is to facilitate all scientists in Indonesia and or overseas to publish their original research and literature review of the articles. All articles must have not been published at any other publication.

Peer Review Process

BoMG reviewing policies are:

• Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers.
• Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers.
• Reviewing process will consider novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.

Publication Frequency

Bulletin of the Marine Geologi (BoMG) is a Journal published online twice a year in the middle of the year (June) and in the end of the year (December).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Article Processing Charges

Every article submitted to BoMG Journal will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles.

BoMG Journal has been certificated as a Scientific Journal by The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) since   July 2008.
